Systematic review about children's drawing in education

Abstract
Children's drawing is understood as an
expression or art in the boy and girl, it
facilitates the exteriorization of their
inner world, showing their graphic
language. In other words, drawing is
one of the purest, most original and
genuine forms of expression for
children at this stage of their
development. Objective. This
systematic review article aims to
identify what is the meaning of
children's drawing in the Scopus,
Scielo, Dialnet, Redalyc and Latindex
databases, between the years 2016 to
2020, at the preschool and primary
education levels. Materials and
methods. It is a quantitative, descriptive
study, with a final sample of 20 articles
from the last 5 years in indexed
journals. Results. After applying
inclusion and exclusion criteria, 20
potential articles were selected, which
evidenced research carried out with
children's drawings. Conclusion.
Children's drawing is an innate
development and expression in the
child, being a field of research that
requires greater attention from Latin
American researchers, constituting part
of the integral formation of the student.
