Effects of distributed generation interconnection on the overcurrent protection system
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research work focuses on determining the effects that the distributed generation interconnection can generate in the electrical overcurrent protection system of a radial distribution network by means of simulations that emulate the real behavior of the different electrical quantities in the network. The 13.8kV Via Buena Fe trunk distribution network (feeder) and its main overcurrent protection system are used as a case study.
